A common misconception is that you should stretch before you run.  This is a ๐— ๐—ฌ๐—ง๐—›.โฃ

Runners should stretch after every run while the muscles are still warm.  You should only stretch immediately after you finished your workout.โฃ

Never stretch cold muscles!โฃ

If you forget to stretch after running, your muscles can become tense and painful.  Stretching improves your circulation and flexibility.โฃ

It helps to eliminate lactic acid and it helps to decrease your risk of injury.  Stretches shouldnโ€™t be painful.โฃ
